The most popular sports in Wales are football and rugby union. Like the other countries of the United Kingdom, Wales enjoys independent representation in major world sporting events such as the Rugby World Cup and in the FIFA World Cup, but competes as the England and Wales cricket team and as Great Britain in many other competitions, including the Olympics. The Millennium Stadium is the largest stadium in Wales. Located in Cardiff, it is the home of the Wales national rugby union team with a capacity of 74,501. It was the temporary location for English football and rugby league finals during the redevelopment of Wembley Stadium. The Cardiff City Stadium is currently the home of the Wales national football team. Sport Wales is responsible for sport in Wales.
